Indications/Uses
Relieves symptoms associated w/ hyperacidity eg, nausea, stomach pain, heart burn, flatulence & full sensation of the stomach which cannot be treated w/ antacid alone.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 1 tab. Max: 2 tab daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Allergic condition to famotidine & other acid reducers.
Special Precautions
Dysphagia. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness, constipation, diarrhea.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use w/ clarithromycin, tetracycline, ketoconazole, propantheline Br, coumarin anticoagulant, theophylline, benzodiazepine, adrenergic blockers, nifedipine, acetaminophen, phenytoin, aspirin.
